A major police operation in Westminster targeting thieves using e-bikes and mopeds has resulted in 187 arrests and 157 vehicles seized. The operation, which ran from February to July, also saw a 22 per cent drop in e-bike related crime in areas like Lambeth and Southwark.
Former Liverpool FC player Jordon Ibe has been sentenced for assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Amie Mayson, outside her Lambeth home. He pulled a braid from her hair during an argument on December 14. The case was heard at Croydon Magistrates’ Court.

Jason Rennox, of Wenlock Street, Hackney, has been charged with assaulting a police officer in Brixton on 13 August. The incident occurred when officers attempted to detain a boy for a weapon search, leading to additional police support being called.

A Thornton Heath resident has been banned from owning dogs for a decade after her four-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier was euthanised due to severe emaciation. Ebony Hoyte-Griffith was sentenced at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on 24 July for failing to provide adequate nutrition and veterinary care.
