A 48-year-old woman died and another woman is critically ill after a fire in Berkley Avenue, Hounslow, on 19 August 2026. Police suspect arson and have ruled it an isolated incident. Nine people were hospitalised, with seven discharged after minor injuries. No arrests have been made.

A woman from Hounslow has admitted smuggling cannabis worth at least £512,000 into the UK from Thailand. Amy Jayne Durban was arrested at Heathrow Airport in July and will be sentenced at Isleworth Crown Court on 14 October 2026.
