A 23-year-old from Lewisham has been imprisoned after robbing a 17-year-old of an e-bike and e-scooter at Stratford Overground station. The victim identified Archibald after seeing the stolen bike advertised online, leading to his arrest by British Transport Police.

Jay Archibald, 23, of Loampit Vale, Lewisham, was sentenced to three years and nine months’ imprisonment at Southwark Crown Court on 21 July 2026 for robbing a 17-year-old of a £1,500 e-bike and £700 e-scooter at Stratford Overground station in June 2024. He was also ordered to pay a £228 victim surcharge.
