Rachid Bouchibne charged with stealing £100,000 Patek Philippe watch from actor

A 27-year-old man from Hornsey has been charged with stealing a £100,000 Patek Philippe watch from an actor in Westminster. Rachid Bouchibne appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday, where magistrate Alan Elias confirmed the case must be sent to Crown Court due to its seriousness.

Bouchibne, of Allison Road, was accused of robbing Alexander Johnson on 10 June 2024. Johnson, 39, has appeared in films including *The Chronology of Water* and *The Wizard of the Kremlin*. He previously told the *Mirror* the stolen watch was a Patek Philippe Aquanaut.

During the brief hearing, Bouchibne confirmed his name, address and date of birth. He wore a white T-shirt with a cream overshirt. No pleas were entered, and no further details about the alleged robbery were discussed in court.

Magistrate Elias described the charge as serious, involving an item of significant value. He told Bouchibne: "It’s indictable only, we can’t deal with it today and must send your matter to the crown court."
