Three people have admitted their involvement in an arson attack at the offices of Volant Media in Park Royal, north-west London. The incident occurred on 15 April when an ignited container was thrown towards the premises, which is the parent company of Persian news channel Iran International.

Appearing at the Old Bailey, Nathan Dunn, 19, from Watford, Hertfordshire, pleaded guilty to arson reckless as to whether life is endangered. A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be identified, denied the same charge but admitted the lesser offence of arson. The prosecution did not accept this plea, and the boy is scheduled to stand trial on 1 February 2027.

Oisin McGuinness, 21, also from Watford, Hertfordshire, had previously pleaded guilty to arson. He also admitted dangerous driving and possession of cocaine. These pleas were accepted by the court.

No individuals were injured during the attack. The fire, caused by the ignited container landing in a car park, extinguished immediately. Dunn and McGuinness have been remanded in custody. The 17-year-old boy has been remanded into local authority care.
