British Transport Police are appealing for the public's help to identify a group of boys in connection with a robbery on a train in Bromley. The incident occurred on Friday, July 22, around 5:30pm, as the train travelled between Beckenham Junction and Shortlands.

The incident

A teenage boy was approached by a group of other boys while he was sitting alone on the train. During a struggle, his mobile phone was taken and his jacket was torn. The group then exited the train at Shortlands station.

Police appeal

Detectives have released CCTV images of individuals they believe may have information relevant to the investigation. British Transport Police are urging anyone who recognises the boys pictured to come forward. Information can be provided by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting the reference provided by the police.
