Cyclist injured in Stepney Green collision as driver accused of inhaling nitrous oxide

A cyclist was injured after a collision with a car on Aylward Street in Stepney Green on the night of 6 August 2026. The London Ambulance Service confirmed they were called to the scene at 11:16 PM and dispatched ambulance crews, an incident response officer, and a trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance.
