Woman jailed for murder and attempted murder in Shepherd's Bush

A woman has died and her daughter was injured in a stabbing incident at their home in Shepherd's Bush. Samantha Turner, 52, was found dead at the property on August 18 after suffering multiple stab wounds. Her daughter, Keeley Turner, 32, was also stabbed twice as she tried to intervene in the attack. Ms Turner was taken to hospital for emergency surgery and has since been discharged. She is currently being cared for by relatives.

Fundraising Appeal Launched

A fundraising page set up to support Keeley Turner and cover funeral expenses for her mother has raised more than £4,000. The GoFundMe page was established to help Ms Turner as she resettles with her two young children, aged three and seven, after being unable to return to the family home. Her aunt, Sarah Thompson, expressed the family's devastation and thanked the community for their support.

Emergency services pronounced Samantha Turner dead at the scene at 8.54am on August 18. The Metropolitan Police confirmed that Alan Dore, 48, of Shepherd's Bush, has been charged with murder and attempted murder in connection with the incident. Mr Dore is scheduled to appear at the Old Bailey for a plea hearing on November 9.
