Keeley Turner, 32, is recovering with relatives after being seriously injured on 18 August when she intervened in the fatal stabbing of her mother in Shepherd's Bush. Her mother, Samantha Turner, 52, died from 70 stab wounds sustained in her home. Despite also being injured, Keeley Turner managed to call emergency services.

Charges and Court Proceedings

Alan Dore, 48, of Shepherd's Bush, has been charged with murder and attempted murder in connection with the incident. He is scheduled to appear at the Old Bailey for a plea hearing on 9 November. The court previously heard that Keeley Turner was stabbed twice when she attempted to stop the attack on her mother.

A fundraiser established to support Keeley Turner has raised more than £4,000. The funds are intended to assist her in resettling with her young family and to cover funeral expenses for her mother.
