Man Charged After Shepherd's Bush Mother Stabbed to Death

Alan Dore, 48, has been charged with murder and attempted murder following a fatal stabbing in Shepherd's Bush. Samantha Turner, 52, died at her home on August 18 after sustaining approximately 70 stab wounds. Her daughter, Keeley Turner, 32, was also injured when she intervened in the attack.

The Old Bailey has been informed of the incident. Ms Turner was pronounced dead at the scene at 8.54am. Her daughter, who has two young children, was taken to hospital and received emergency surgery. Despite her injuries, Keeley Turner managed to call emergency services to report the incident.

Alan Dore, who is from Shepherd's Bush, is next scheduled to appear at the Old Bailey for a plea hearing on November 9. He faces charges of murder and attempted murder.

A GoFundMe appeal has raised more than £4,000 to assist Keeley Turner. According to her aunt, Sarah Thompson, the donations will help Ms Turner resettle with her young family and cover funeral costs for her mother. Ms Thompson described the incident as devastating for the family.

Ms Turner has been discharged from hospital and is recovering with relatives. She is unable to return to her family home due to the circumstances.
