Met Police renew appeal for witnesses as family demand justice for 25-year-old TfL worker
A 25-year-old TfL bus driver was shot dead on Willington Road in Clapham on the evening of 10 August. Auguste-Marie Bile-aka Amoa died shortly after 21:57, the Metropolitan Police confirmed. No one has been charged in connection with the killing.
Police arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of murder the same night after he attended hospital with a gunshot wound. The Met said he was later released with no further action following additional enquiries. The investigation, led by Detective Chief Inspector Claire Guiver, remains active.
Family demand justice
Bile-aka Amoa’s family released a statement describing him as a young man full of love and kindness. They said the pain of losing him was impossible to express and called for justice. The family urged the public to help ensure his life is remembered and those responsible are held accountable.

Police seek witnesses
Detectives renewed their appeal for anyone who was in the area around the time of the shooting to come forward. They are particularly interested in CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage that could assist the investigation. The Met said even small details could prove vital.
