A former Sidcup beauty parlour owner has been sentenced to seven-and-a-half years in prison for the rape of a heavily intoxicated woman. Javaughn Brown was found guilty by a unanimous jury at Woolwich Crown Court.

British Transport Police have released CCTV footage of a man they want to speak to after a 16-year-old girl was sexually assaulted at White Hart Lane railway station in Tottenham. The incident occurred at around 10.30pm on 7 July, and the suspect fled onto a train after being confronted.
