Canning Town Incident
Emergency services were called to the junction of Durham Road and Star Lane in Canning Town at around 7:27pm on September 8 following reports of a medical emergency. A man in his 70s died at the scene. Police stated the man may have been bitten by a dog before suffering a cardiac arrest. Paramedics attempted to save the man but he was pronounced dead.
Barking Balcony Fall
A man, believed to be in his 20s, died after falling from a balcony on Gurdwara Way in Barking. Police were called to the address around 3pm on September 7 due to concerns for his welfare. The man fell from height before officers arrived. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing.
