Church figure jailed for 8.5 years for sexual assaults
A former senior church figure, John Grant, 77, has been sentenced to eight and a half years in prison at Wood Green Crown Court for sexual assault and indecent assault offences. The Metropolitan Police investigation began in 2023 after a victim-survivor reported abuse spanning 30 years.
